Wheel Loader Roll Over

Description:
Loader operator attempting to pick up a set of forklift forks that were located on the outer edge of a stockpile area with the bucket of the Loader.
As he tried to pick them up, he knocked them causing them to move forward approximately half a meter down a slope beyond the stockpile area.
Operator assumed it would be safer to reposition the loader to come around and beneath the forks so the loader can face up the slope. While looping around to reposition the loader on a slope the wheel loader lost traction and rolled sideways approximately 1.5 times coming to rest on its side.
