Onboarding of Asset Owner Companies and Contractors is progressing well, with over 1,400 individuals registered and over 16,000 credentials loaded. Genesis, Contact, Meridian and Nova have led the charge with Mercury, smaller generating companies and our key contracting companies to be onboarded by the end of June 2025. We have also had a number of training organisations come on-board, with Vertical Horizonz leading the way. Check out this video link to learn more.
We recognise that this may be a significant change for some people/organisations, however, the team at StayLive and JNCTN are here to support you as you onboard the SCT and get used to this digital way of working with competencies across the industry.
The benefits of going digital via the SCT for competencies cannot be overstated for individuals and organisations alike. These include:
To register as an individual go to https://staylive.jnctn.nz/register/ JNCTN's Video Guide will step you through the process.
For contracting or training organisations go to this link for steps on how to set up your organisation.
StayLive has secured a great deal for our sector with a cost of $120/person/year*. Asset owner companies anticipate that contracting companies will pass on any additional costs associated with the SCT through their overhead costs, however, over time we expecting a significant overall saving in training and administration costs as described above.
* Note – The cost is subject to periodic review by StayLive and JNCTN and may even reduce as the total number of individuals and organisations using the platform increases.
