Great Health, Safety & Wellbeing Leadership

People who are considered great health, safety and wellbeing leaders earn the respect of the people they work with who, thanks to their leadership, go home healthy, safe and well. How well New Zealand is really doing in leading workplace health, safety and wellbeing is most accurately gauged by the perceptions of people at all levels within our workplaces.

Overview

The StayLive Governance Group has identified colleagues they consider to be great health, safety and wellbeing leaders. This document outlines what great health, safety and wellbeing leadership looks like, why this is important to a successful business and flourishing people, as well as describing the competence of our leaders.

Content

This document contains a set of questions to help you further develop your skills in health, safety and wellbeing leadership. As you read through the competencies we would suggest you reflect on items you are confident in and where you would like to hone your skills.

We hope this document assist you in considering how you can enhance your Health, Safety and Wellbeing Leadership strengths and grow in areas you may see as a development opportunity for you.
