It's that time of year again when the temperatures are rising and the naturally present legionella bacteria levels rise in our rivers. This alert is in response to a positive result of 100 cfu/ml in our Cooling tower (matching the sampled level in the river which is taken at the same time). This alert covers reminders for PPE and safe work practices as well as steps taken to ensure the chemical dosing is effective.
