Frank and his family moved to New Zealand in 1993, and over the past 20 plus years he has worked for Becas, Leyland Consultants, Watercare and is currently with Jacobs SKM.
Frank has been involved with the EEA for nearly all of his time in New Zealand and was the lead advocate for power industry consultant membership of EEA and their recognition as a growing future industry sector that should be a part of the Governance structure of the EEA. Frank served on the EEA Board for seven years from 2005 2011.
He is passionate about the sustainability of our industry skill base in particular the training and education of future trades people , technicians and engineers. Over many years he has been the driving force around the development of the EEA Professional Development programme and our work on education advocacy and industry training. He has all been a regular speaker at young engineers technical forums & Conference- keen to share his knowledge and experience.
Franks other passion is the IET where he has served as an IET Council member and Chairman of the Auckland IET network. He was instrumental in establishing the EEA and IET partnership that over the last decade has enabled so many great IET UK speakers to attend the EEA Conference and share their knowledge with our industry. We are part of a global industry and Franks foresight has enabled us to learn from the best.
Franks Life Membership Award is one small way we can acknowledge and thank him for his vision, passion and commitment to the work of the EEA.
